Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you seeking freedom from evil dreams. Your word says in Psalm 91:5-7, ‘You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.’
I declare that I am your child, and I trust in your protection. I renounce any ungodly influence that has been causing these evil dreams and declare that they have no power over me. Your word says in 1 John 4:4, ‘Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.’
I declare that the greater one lives in me, and I have authority over all the power of the enemy. I choose to resist the devil and all his works, and I declare that he must flee from me. Your word says in James 4:7, ‘Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.’
I submit myself to you, Lord, and I resist the devil and his schemes. I declare that I have the mind of Christ, and I choose to focus on your truth and your promises. Your word says in Philippians 4:8, ‘Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.’
I choose to think on these things and to fill my mind with your truth. Thank you for the freedom that I have in Christ, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus name, amen.
