Deuteronomy 28:1-68 “ESV And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. The scripture here reminds us of the benefits and blessings that accompany obedience to God. Romans 5:19 also highlighted, “For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous”.

The Bible admonishes that whoever walks in disobedience rebels against God. And the father and initiative of disobedience is the devil whose desire is to lead many into disobedience. Over the years he has succeeded in leading many into the path of disobedience.

As you prepare for the new season, I want you to ask God to help you to identify and surrender to Him the areas of your life that have not been fully yielded in obedience.
