Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you seeking freedom from manipulations and manipulators. Your word says in 2 Timothy 3:2-5, ‘People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.’
I declare that I have nothing to do with manipulative and abusive people, and I choose to separate myself from their influence. Your word also says in Proverbs 26:24-25, ‘Enemies disguise themselves with their lips, but in their hearts they harbor deceit. Though their speech is charming, do not believe them, for seven abominations fill their hearts.’
I renounce any manipulation and deceitful tactics that have been used against me, and I declare that they have no power over me. Your word says in James 4:7, ‘Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.’
I submit myself to you, Lord, and I resist the devil and all his works. I choose to focus on your truth and your promises. Your word says in Psalm 46:1, ‘God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.’
I declare that you are my refuge and strength, and that you are my ever-present help in times of trouble. I thank you for the freedom that I have in Christ, and for the victory that I have over manipulations and manipulators. In Jesus name, amen.”
